Now you're just being thick. It's not a decade, more like 2 or 3 years. The N64 was deliberately designed to be the most powerful guy on the block (SGI in your house, remember?). The GameCube wasn't the most powerful machine, but it was pretty close, and the performance on a cost-benefit ratio was pretty astounding. Very well-designed little machine. If they didnt care about tech they would've slapped a DVD drive on the N64. The GBA... sure, it was a portable SNES. But compare it to its peers. The NGPC. Or the GBC. The fact that it ran Mode 7 stuff and a near-perfect port of Rayman was pretty kickass upon launch. If only you could see the screen...Quote:
