What gets me even more excited for this game than those gorgeous shots, its just how much stuff should be in this game. All the Xbox Live stuff will be nuts I am sure, even more so than before. Plus maybe a sequal to GEOMETRY WARS!?

Just kidding. It looks impressive, and it's probably even better in motion. Though even with its "must-buy" status, it won't be enough for me to buy a 360 later this year.

This is the game that I plan on buying with my 360, that is if it's indeed a launch title. PGR2 is one of my all time favorite racing games and I'm so excited for this one that it's just not even funny.

And a sequel to GW would be fucking spectacular. :nod:

So is that CG or a replay, because it isn't gameplay. I have yet to be impressed or unimpressed by the 360, because we haven't seen a single gameplay shot.

It's most likely replay footage, which in terms of PGR is just as beautiful as in game footage. Also considering PGR and PGR2 didn't have any FMV in it, I would doubt that those arn't in game graphics.

I still don't think I see what would look better if it's prerendered. I even have a trained eye in 3d renders, considering that's what I've been working with in school for the past year, and I still am missing the point.

I'm not trying to be an ass or anything, I just would love to know what your nit picking about because I just don't see it.

The enviroments do look significantly improved over PGR2 -- and hopefully this runs at 60fps! That was one of the few downsides of PGR2 (that they cut the framerate in half from 1).

The prospect of a Project Gotham game at launch makes me happy in the pants. If it is as enjoyable MSR/PGR/PGR2 (with the same level of refinement and evolution from each game), they'll have one of the next generation's best racing games from day one. I look forward to pwning you clowns in it come launch.

Yeah, the cars look very good, but stuff like the guardrail and the chain link fence look awesome too.

As you said, 60 fps would be nice - I'd be surprised if they can't pull that off.
