I have to complete the trilogy, so I'm glad this thread reminded me.

Meh, that doesnt bother me. The kinda shitty gunplay does. Also not having the same music playing in the game as the movies sucks dick. Yes its got some music but not the actual stuff in the same scenes as the movies.

When this game tanks it will effectively be the final nail in the Matrix coffin. It really is an interesting case study, that a franchise that had such early potential is now almost universially reviled or ignorned.

EtM having sold like 8 billion copies sort of suggests that this game will not tank.

Just like Matrix Online didn't tank? Releasing a game coinciding with one of the most anticipated sequels ever is a little different from releasing a game at the very end of a franchise's limp popularity. It'll sell decently though because people are stupid.

Wasnt there a press release form Warner Bros. saying that if this game did suck then they could sue Shiny/Atari or something? Which still seems lame because I'm sure Atari still had to pay for the rights to use material from the movies.

I beat the game tonight. BEST ALTERNATE ENDING EVAR!!
