Sonic Rush screens.

Couldn't they have gotten a better artist? Those sprites and BGs are just ugly.
Could be fun tho'. I'll keep an open mind about this one.

Everyone did. And yeah. I think you might be right, he does look polygonal.

I don't like the way the vine he is running up in the first shot looks. It doesn't look very sonicish. It looks like something from a rayman(sp?) game. Oh yeah, and the sprite sucks too. It may rock in action, but I'd much rather it look like sonic two or sonic cd sprite.

You people are nuts. It looks good and I'm glad to see that it looks like it's focusing on Sonic and not any of the other characters.

Just got back from E3 today and played Sonic Rush quite a bit. It's one of my favorite games at the show, and yes, Sonic is 3d. It's a great use of the dual screen in my opinion. Good stuff indeed.

3D sonic is ugly

We know, you said that already. I rather like the look of Sonic, it's something new for the design, and it does get across the character.
