Brisco, as do I. I like the visuals, they're like a more real-looking version of the Advance games. I'm excited about this, although I wish it as a version of that Sonic demo shown at last year's E3, maybe that'll be in as a mini-game or something.
I think a few of those screens look hot.
Xbox 360 is a joke. Enough with the renders, let's see some gameplay shots.
I don't really have a problem with it as long as they don't put bad guys and other crap to hurt me in the gap between screens. Dying becuase something I can't see, will get old fast.

Bring this game one, I love it. It's already guaranteed to be better than if they had made a Sonic Adventure type game on the DS. Combine this with Mario Bros. DS, Viewtiful Joe, and Castlevania, the DS ain't looking so bad.
I'll scratch viewtiful joe if it's the same game we have on current consoles.

You people are nuts. It looks good and I'm glad to see that it looks like it's focusing on Sonic and not any of the other characters.
Just got back from E3 today and played Sonic Rush quite a bit. It's one of my favorite games at the show, and yes, Sonic is 3d. It's a great use of the dual screen in my opinion. Good stuff indeed.
3D sonic is ugly
We know, you said that already. I rather like the look of Sonic, it's something new for the design, and it does get across the character.

How about the best handheld Sonic ever? Rush might even be the best Sonic period. It is really that good. Great to see Sonic Team back to doing what they originally did best. It is also the best use of the two screens on the DS I've seen yet.
I also played the new Mario and while it was really good, Sonic was on a higher level.

Those boss battles are just amazing. I'm a bit concerned at how well the two screen play will work out, but I'm sure it's somthing that can be gotten used to.
I haven't really liked a Sonic game since Sonic 2, although Sonic Pocket Adventure was nice.
This game would have to be a real gem to get me back into the series.
This isn't good use of the dual screen. This game could be made with one screen, and looking back and forth on two is only going to take away from the experience. That said, the trailer looks nice, despite the stupid use of dual screen.

Yeah, I dunno... this just feels odd. I mean, it is kind of cool how you can see all this extra stuff above or below you, but as Sonic is about running FORWARD as fast as you can, what is needed is more viewable area in front of and behind Sonic, not above and below.
And the boss battles don't look bad, but they don't look like anything all that amazing either. We've already seen that kind of thing in Klonoa, and a bunch of other games.
It would be cool if the game was a race, and the second screen showed your opponent.
If you had a power up or something you could use the bottom screen to poke at your opponent, or place obstacles, or something.
Looks like the best Sonic game to come out since the original Genesis Sonics.

Don't knock it until you play it. It works really well in practice feeling more like one big screen than two, and is the best use of the dual screen I've seen so far. Ten times better than just chosing your powerups in the new Mario.Quote:

That moves to the top. It just swaps the screens, which seems neat the first time it happens until you realize it's a huge waste of the second screen. Then it becomes annoying.Quote:
