My First Drug Test

On Thursday, May 12 at about 4:00 AM, I was exposed to second hand marijuana smoke when a friend of mine smoked a 1" ZigZag. I am not a marijuana user, and we were in a two door Chevy S10 with both windows rolled down going 50 MPH on the highway. That is the last time I was exposed to any amount of marijuana smoke, the only prior time being about a month or greater apart. I took my very first urine test today due to a job at about 1:00. I did not recall until an hour after that I had been exposed to marijuana. I would have to say that my metabolism is a bit on the slow side (I am overweight, but very active). Anyone ever been in a similar situation? How strong is the possibility that the test'll come back positive, and what other steps usually occur? I'm applying for a job that's pretty cool for right now (working floor third shift for nearly $9.00/hour), and I really don't want it to be fucked up by my dumbass friend.

If you smoked a j, it would take 30 days to get out of your system. You would have no problems passing a urine test.

If your friend was smoking with the windows open the whole time, you have nothing to be concerned about. Unless you ate a bagel with poppy seeds.

You will be fine. Those drugs tests aren't nearly as strong as some people make them out to be. As long as you drank liquids and ate a lot over the time your friend smoked, your fine.

Seriously, you didn't even smoke yourself and it was over a week and a half ago. There's no way you can get caught.

My major pothead friend uses his 3 year old son's piss. He kept it in a condom hooked to his belt somehow. He got the job with no problems...yet.

I too have donated piss so a friend could pass a drug test.

We had hired this guy to help at a job out of town. The trip was about 2 hours away and he paid for his own gas. We told the guy that he would have to pass a drug test. He said that it wouldn't be a problem. My co-worker pulls up to the testing office (The guy drove his own vehicle) and they go in. They were waiting in the lobby for about 15 minutes and the guys says he needs to get something out of his truck. My co-worker looks out the window and the guy is hauling ass.

What's really sad is that the guy probably could have worked for a day or 2, before they would have posted the results.

Realistically, if you smoked pot 3 weeks ago, it could be very possible to pass the test. 30 days is simply a safe figure. As far as being in the same car nearly 3 weeks ago you have NOTHING to be worried about.

You guys do know you can be suppliments and stuff to mask the drugs when you're taking tests, right?
