To me it the terminology goes the other way around. Dating = starting off/sex/messing around,etc., Seeing each other = holding hands/cuddly/relationship shit.Ah well, it is interesting to see how people have different takes on this.

I agree with g0zen too. Kinopio is indeed part of the problem, but then again Ive been saying this for a long time about many different topics. Itll catch up to him, though. Shit like that always does.

I don't think terms really matter much on something like this, do they?

My most recent girlfriend and I were together for half a year or so before things got ugly, and we always referred to it as "dating." Kinda obscure, considering we never did the "go on dates" thing before we got together. Never been much for the whole dating thing, I always ended up with girls by chance, or something like that. I don't know.

Sure makes it hard to figure out where you're going to find the next one, though, when the last one leaves you in the dust. Great.

I don't see how sleeping around w/ other girls makes me an asshole when i'd only been dating the girl for 3 weeks. If she isn't my GF and we haven't had a talk about being exclusive, its fair game. Last year I was in a situation with a girl and the roles were reversed; she was still sleeping with her ex girlfriend for the first month we were dating and I was only sleeping with her. I wasn't pissed at her because we hadn't agreed to be exclusive.

But I guess others have a different perception when it comes to dating. I think thats the point of this thread: people have different opinions on dating.
