The whole "illegal immigrants need to be here because they do the work Americans wont" is a canard. Americans wont do the work because the pay is garbage, and the pay is garbage because illegal immigrants are taking that garbage pay. Pay people properly and they will do the job. I wouldve happily picked oranges for a summer while I was in high school for $10-$15 an hour.
