If you have extreme beliefs, you have to be prepared to catch hell for them. If I came on here raving about how bad ass fascism or communism is, I'd expect dudes to make fun of me. Maybe we should be respectful of other people's beliefs, but I can understand g0zen's skepticism. People just don't really believe that God intervenes in daily life these days. It would be like some guy coming in here talking about snake-handling or speaking in tongues. People are going to naturally roll their eyes at that kind of shit, and the people that practice that stuff have to understand that.

He hasn't taken it quite as in stride as he could have. He did feel the need to toss out a few ham-handed barbs my way, but I don't really care. Fuck'um if they can't take a joke, that's the one and only universal truth.

But to answer Andrew's question, yes a doctor has checked me. Herpes be GONE yo!

Aside from that I think the real problem have with my faith is that I do not apologize for what I believe despite sounding like a complete head case. I speak with authority on the reality of God and many people find this troublesome because of the way I openly dismiss all other religions without regard to the feelings of those people who practice them.

This is simply because I know the Truth. It is not a matter of "Oh I was taught this, this is how I was raised, so this is what I believe". It isn't even a matter of practicing the religion for so many years and suddenly coming into some epiphany through dedication and prayer.

What I have goes so far beyond religion that it can't be called religion, which is fine by me because I abhor all religions. Religion is an insidious evil of this spiritually bankrupt world as far as I am concerned. The earliest form of mind control since the dawn of man. Quite frankly I think a lot problems in this world would be quickly solved if could simply do away with religion all together. However, the need of mankind to be part of something greater than himself would never permit this, so whatever.

That said if you think I'm nuts because I tell you I have personal, heart to hearts with God, so be it. I know how insane it sounds, but that makes it no less the truth. God is not some unreachable, ethereal mist from the pale to me, He is my Father and I am his son and that is how speak to one another. Jesus on the other hand is my number one homie and we chop it up when He's not busy. Elohim, the Holy Ghost, we talk, but I'm still getting to know Him. What matters most is that He keeps me in check when I want to explode on someone and reminds me that kindness and encouraging words take you further. Hard to remember when all you want to do is rip some asshole's head off. Makes me thankful that He's there. Probably would've killed someone by now otherwise.

Alright, I've switched to g0zen's side now if 7s is being serious. This is basically like someone telling me their D&D character is real. I'm accepting of others' beliefs, but I got my damn limits.

So then you're not accepting of others' beliefs. You're suddenly shocked when somebody is treating their religion as a real thing. I don't agree with everything 7s says, but I have no reason to mock him for it with comments like your D&D one.
