I called Samsung and they are sending out a technician to fix it. So far so good.

My Aunt and Uncle got a 50" Panasonic plasma, it's freaking dope.

mine has a very very very very slight distortion on the right hand side I only notice it if I look for it but if their technician can take care of that shit then I may have to give them a call myself

I like that television as well. But, I have noticed that the one at the Walmart near my house is starting to look dated. It's basically been running 24/7 for a solid year. The colors look washed out and somewhat off. I know the television is capable of a much better picture, but I'm beginning to wonder if it's suffering from pixel fade?

Sorry, this television is a rear projection LCD. Do they tend to fade fairly quick?

Has any one heard of how good (or bad) Hyundai tvs are?

Quick question, would I need to get a new a/v reciever for my surround sound to use it with an HDTV? Because all of my components currently go through the reciever with the composite connections. It's a few years old, I don't think it has a high def video connection.

for an HDTV to display an HD image it needs to be connected through either an HDMI connection, DVI connection, or Component Connection. I'm gonna guess if your receiver is a few year's old it probably doesn't have any of those connections on it, possibly componet but I doubt it. You could always buy a component switch box which would be cheaper than buying a whole new reciever that could switch the connections you need. Realize that the coming Blu Ray and HD DVD players are going to only send HD signals through HDMI, so you may want to even wait for that and get an HDMI switch box or something when those come out
