If you have money to splurge, try a tablet PC (or one of those tablets with the screen built in) with Alias Sketchbook Pro. It's so close to drawing on real paper it's actually kind of scary. You have to play with the tools a little since the base values suck, but they simulate pencils and ink even better than Painter does. Of course you can also do things you can't do with paper like zoom, expand the canvas size, draw on multiple layers, etc. Interface is tiny so you can use most of the screen for pure drawing. For some reason it doesn't work as well with a normal tablet on a home PC, however.Quote:
