Technically, I'm not so sure what part of the curve this thing is on, but the prospect of an "epic fantasy fps" actually sounds pretty rad. One problem lies in the whole, "sword combat had better not be gay," thing. Otherwise it's Enclave in first person.

looks pretty good.

Too bad they didnt show much of actually gameplay and in game stuff. Unless there are other movies aside the one I've seen that shows mostly 3d models and real life sculptures used, and only has like 3 seconds of real game footage.

Pretty sure Rise of the Triads was quite a bit before Hexen. But yeah, both cool games.

DiffX: For some reason I think that "gameplay" section was scripted. This is only three guys making thier own engine, and then to make a game on top of that. I doubt they would have a whole lot in terms of environments with things to do and whatnot.

I for one certainly hope they get the funding and people needed to accomplish this in a timely fashion, cause if it comes out too late it may just get passed over for the prettier things that will be out by then.
