It's not something I'd do often, but it's fun for what it is. If the next plataeus are what I expect, it could be a substitute (though pour) for shrooms, since they seem to be impossible to get.

It speaks volumes for how shitty a drug is when I have a source of it I could abuse on hand and I am not doing it.

CVS Tussin is pretty good for stopping a cough but it is pretty shitty for getting high. The cons outweigh the pros by a whole lot.

I still don't get why everyone hates DXM; I've noticed nothing negative about it.

For each time it made me feel good, it made me feel absolutely uncomfortable another. For hours on end. Unbearably so. And the good isn't even that great at best. Large doses of syrup have also made me puke up everything I had eaten all day, even though I don't mind the taste and there's no other ingredients (at least, not listed) to cause that in this brand, anyway.

It makes me feel itchy and stupid and as clumsy as shit. If I'm going to stumble around like a moron, I might as well feel good, right? Every time I have done it I have left a note for myself that says "don't do this again." I finally got the hint. Not worth it. Not even for $5 or whatever a bottle costs, and yes, I've measured my doses carefully. Buy some malt liquor instead, get some weed, whatever. DXM is a waste of time and I will probably never bother with it again.

But I'm not robo-tripping; I'm doing it in a pure powder form, and it's free (for me). I felt no negative effects from it.

Someone actually went through the process of making 'Tussin into a powder form? Yes, yes, you are robo-trippin', it's DXM my man, no matter what it comes in, it's the same fucking drug.
