Same. omfgninjas has had plenty of conversations with me on AIM when I'm nearly falling over drunk, and I probably have less spelling errors than I do when I'm sober.

Absinthe sucks. It's like drinking licorice. Bad tasting, strong licorice.

So I threw a party on Friday and have slept for the last 20 hours since. It was so not worth the cleanup.

Oh, and omni...apparently it's illegal for liquor stores to sell beer.
(we went to 7 of them before we wound up at the supermarket that we started at)

Isn't PA like that too? MD liquor stores have it all, but unfortunately we don't get the supermarket/convenience store thing.

Yeah. MD ftw. I had to pay $5.70 for 12 packs of Natty. Had I been in MD, it would've been $12 for 30s. Apparently NY doesn't have 30s. :(

True, alcohol tastes like shit, but absinthe making you hallucinate is, for the most part, myth. I'm sure some shit over in Europe will work, but any content of wormwood is usually too small to be of any value. Not to mention it's pretty much the most bitter herb ever. All the absinthe i've had was from France, and it was never worth the $100+ pricetags of the bottle. (which i didn't pay, fortunately)
