True, alcohol tastes like shit, but absinthe making you hallucinate is, for the most part, myth. I'm sure some shit over in Europe will work, but any content of wormwood is usually too small to be of any value. Not to mention it's pretty much the most bitter herb ever. All the absinthe i've had was from France, and it was never worth the $100+ pricetags of the bottle. (which i didn't pay, fortunately)
