again......???? find me this in writing and ill believe you. so you're saying that if the feds came to your house and looked on your computer and found said rom, theyd haul you to jail if you downloaded it but not if you ripped it from your cart, assuming in each case you still own the cart? thats ballyhoo.

You can replace that battery at a bunch of independent gaming places that mod/repair things. If not, it's not a huge process to replace it.

I tried it with the "fast load" feature on the PS2 and the loading times were exactly the same.

I played through CT on PS2 with faster loading and I dont think the loading ever bothered me. I'd go with the 2 for 1 PS version. For me, it would just be for the fact I dont have to drag out my SNES to play it. Just pop it into my PS2 or PS3 which would already be hooked up. The loading isnt bad at all, you guys are just impatient bastards :)

Loading itself isn't a bad thing, but it's a game that used to have no loading on an inferior (spec-wise) system. Seems like lazy emulation to me.

I could see that being the case since the other Square compilations have the same problems and loading times aren't that bad for PS RPGs.

:wtf: I just openned the cart up to put in a new battery, and found the weirdest thing. The battery had a gap of about .75 cm between it and the cart. I put a clothespin on it, holding the battery to the circuit board and it looks like the battery is still good.
