Maybe it's the unintuitive mountain setup. Yeah, it's a streaming mountain, but it hardly feels like it, since you keep getting thrown back to a stage select screen. SSX3 handled it much better, IMO.
Maybe it's the slightly altered control scheme (I can no longer use the left analog stick to prewind. It's a minor issue, but completely screws me up, since each previous game allowed it. Also, WTF @ tricking with the right stick).
Maybe it's the fact that the camera feels the need to go to a ridiculously unhelpful angle whenever you decide to do a MONSTER trick.
Maybe it's the stupid tourists polluting half the courses while you race.
Maybe it's the disappointing soundtrack (Hey, i liked the drum & bass).
Maybe it's the shitty framerate in the PS2 version.
On the plus side, the game's front-end is amazing.
