The best of the best (Fighting games- idle, win, lose animations and taunts)

I think my favorite idle (standing) animation is Lilith's... Just the way she moves her ass in and out like that is great... Much better than Morrigan's hand waving... Of course Mai's idle bouncing is classic, too.

There are tons of great taunts... Yuri's ass smack, Joe's moon, Lilith's dreaming of different foods... Jin's towel rub... Captain Commando's guitar... Too many good ones to choose from.

Win animations- Also a ton of good ones. Mai's fan toss and catch (of course) as well as her lay down, Morrigan and Lith's costume changes, and knwo I am blanking out trying to think of more...

I really like the "Simpleton!" taunt in Eternal Champions. It's too bad the game kind of sucks.

Chun Li and Mai's is probably the greatest, by far. Even the SvC intro is great... (bit different than the CvS one.. maybe even better...)

My vote goes for the Morrigan winning animation in Marvel vs. Capcom 2. The one when she appears in an S&M black leather outfit and procedes to whip a helpless Lilith thats tied to the cieling.

No lie, just win a few rounds of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 with Morrigan and you will see it.

Off the top of my head:
I like that silly leg move that Clark (I think its Clark, mabye Ralph) does in his idle.
Everything Choi does is funny.
Vice's kneel and lick thing is out there.
B. Jenet's walk (back AND forward)
Sakura's stance where she pumps her hand in the air with her skirt blowing is funny to me.

i always love the animation for when you trip sakura with a low sweep kick
the look on her face and the way she waves her hands is hillarious i love it

Haohmaru's (CvsSnk2) sake spit intro. (badass)

I'd have to say the majority of the taunts from SFIII:TS are great. Chun-Li's yawning and stretching, Makoto's flexing, Yun's twirling hat, Elena's handstand, Dudley's flower toss, and so on (and of course, the fact that they alter a characteristic by completing one means there's actually a purpose to them aside form just showing off).

For intros, I love ones that apply to the characters and connections between them. KoF has plenty of these, though I don't play it enough to really know any in particular. Alex/Hugo in SFIII:TS is great, as is Kyo/Ryu in CvS:MotM.

Might I also add almost anything by Lillith. Her wing-turned-hand gesturing a finger for you to "come on", her sitting down clutching her stomach while thinking of food, and (even though this is off-topic) her Showtime! super (one of the Greatest. Supers. Ever.).

Darkstalkers has just too many cool animations to list ( here are some examples of my favorites, it's just a few ):

8.) Q.Bee's EX Sting - she stings you, turns your body into a shell for her new self, and then dies, but a new version of herself comes from out of your body.

These are just a few of the many MANY animations on DS. You can't see them all in a day, I tell you.

Also, who can forget Anakaris' super taunt?

Stellar.

Vampire probably has some of the greatest animations out of all fighting games.

Rock Howard's fire wings win pose has got to be one of the ultimate win poses of all time. Special mention goes to Kubiriri Basara from Samurai Shodown 3.

I just saw that for the first time today. Hold all punches, then taunt? That has to be one of the freakiest taunts I've ever seen! He turns into a sarcophagus, and many copies of his legs walk out carrying mummies, and chanting something ^_^

This is why I love the Vampire series so much! Everytime I play, I see something different.
