I had a lot of fun playing in your party the other nite Nick. If I could ever figure out what causes my game to quit, I'll be interested in putting some more time into playing.

I just had one hell of a huge run today going from the frost gate, to gates of Kryta. I'll be trying to team up with the same group that got me there tomorrow and hope to make an even bigger run.
btw for all of you who are playing, I'd suggest you do the same as me and put your current character title in your signature so it's easier to get hooked up when anyone is playing.
I was trying to make my way for Dronks and at lev 14, there just isn't a way I can do it.
I sure as hell ain't wasting my money on those damn runners either.
I was able to celebrate my time playing the festival before I called in for the night. Prizes were being handed out after playing a special invasion in the main area where everyone was to collect chargers and return them before they got mauled to death by creatures running about. Best part was me being able to exchange my collection of orbs for the mask that comes as a collectable to the event.

Did you have any luck getting that mask? Right now the place is back to normal and there's no dragon arena to play dodgeball anymore. :_(
I really wish that this game allowed you to join current missions that are already in progress. There was someone with me inside dragon's gullet, but a crash got to him and didn't feel like restarting at that point.

ok dorks, its nightfall content is up, both pvp and pvp, the new african looking stuff looks cool, if you make a nightfall character they cannot be assasins or ritualists, only paragons, dervishes and the 6 core characters. and they actually made a starting costume for female elementalists that covers less skin than the outfits for prophecies.. if i were fronting id say that im not going to be getting this for amanda. but im not, and i will. the monks especially look cool, they look like "medicine men" with the skeletal bodypaint going on. i like my f-chan monk, but i will be using one of my spare slots for a nightfall guy without question. rangers also look pretty cool with leopard furs on, the only downer is that the warriors look a little close to the factions warriors, but thats only the starting stuff, so it could get better.
I should be on later tonight with a friend of mine, say after 9:30 or 10 Eastern. My brother will be making his triumphant return this weekend, I believe. His new hard drive is in place but he has to install some programs.
I'm liking Nightfall thus far. I wasn't planning on picking it up... but I suspect I could sell an account with all three collector's editions for a pretty penny, so I probably should but it.

Played some PvE with Vasteel. I'll be on tomorrow afternoon, but there are too many other TNL-related things to do this weekend for me to have much extended play time. Nightfall is a definite purchase for me.
one other thing in really enjoying is the new customized npc system, right now i just played around for a little bit, but im feeling good about how we are getting kind of alternate characters that we can use in our party as an extension of us, there are even the seperate tabs for sending them in differnet areas, im thinking im going to really like that addition.
It's great that we can have a hero member and have him outfitted with any weapon or spell that's needed. Diablo has this and since one of the developers is from that, it makes perfect sense. Another thing I noticed was the skills and attributes are now in the same window which makes it much easier to sort now. I'm hoping the next step will be to allow you to change your selection in the middle of the game rather then wait till you get to town.

i still play occasionaly. i rerolled amanda frostdrake to a nightfall version, basicly because i like the hair selections better( im a vain fucker) but i still have my canathan warrior/assasin who im trying to get to the point that she can change secondaries, im planning to make her a warrior/paragon. but i still primarily play city of heroes, lemmie know when you want to start playing, pretty much nobody but rich and me still are active from the guild.

I recently got back into it hardcore and now have a Paragon that I'm fairly confident in... now if only people didn't think so low of Paragons. (Mind you top 100 guilds use the same build I use on many of their teams, but try getting a Paragon into a pick up group...arg) With that said, I switched my monk to a prot monk and use that primarily to PVP now and loved the FoW/UW weekend.
Anyone up for some PVP together? I finally unlocked Hero's Ascent but i'll be damned if I'll ever get into a group that stands any chance of winning. I can't even get to R1, let alone the R9 requirement for many groups in HA.
PS. Guild Wars 2 next year will likely have no level limit, and at the least a much higher max level. Also, one more expansion coming out prior (GW: Eye of the North) to GW2 that will require you to have one of the 3 other games and will be an expansion directly to Prophecies with no new classes.
heres the link for some of richs info. few neat things about guild wars 2, now there are 5 races humans, sylvans(elves basicly), norns(barbarians/vikings), charr(you know what the fuck charr are), and asurans(little rabbit like magic users). and its a standard mmo movement (jumping and swimming) rather than the stapled to the ground thing. still no monthly fee, they are adamant about that.

I've just gotten back into playing this over the last month and finally joined another guild. Most of prophecies is beaten, so once I've got hard mode unlocked, I should be ready to go for this.
Kind of a sad thing too, I was about to start a new Diablo character.

If you beat it, you'll get that for your missions and it'll make your lev 20 groups look like a couple of pansys.
This must be a new feature. I stopped playing about 4 months ago and never saw this.
