I can't wait for the Growlanser games to come out here.
I've never been overly interested in the series before they were announced to be released here (not a big fan of import RPG's). But since the announcement, I've been reading quite a bit.
And now I'm nice n' excited.
They have that "old-school" rpg look which I just adore, and I'm a HUGE strat-rpg/rpg lover, so I look foward to hearing more news on the domestic release...
The towns people demand info!... so has anyone heard anything lately on these, if so please do share :)
They'll probably be on my list of games to buy... in 2004 at this rate, but damn these are my most wanted games for PS2 period.
Ohhh snap, cannot wait. I WILL be picking these up as soon as they come out. BTW, not that it matters, but how is the music?

Unfortunately Noriyuki Iwadare Career Soft's composer from previous games like Langrisser didn't return to work on the Growlanser games, but even so they are still pretty good. I found a review for Growlanser II's soundtrack below so you check it out:Quote:

For a minute there I thought they were going to be releasing Growlanser I along with Growlanser II & III... oh well still excellent news :)

I don't know too much about this series, for some reason it has always confused me.. but what I do know is that the games have long looked very appealing and I am very happy that they are destined for a NA release (even if it's coming by way of WD).
The previews look great. I love sRPG. I love the art/graphics.... this game is a must have. :chunobi:
