Been playing a lot of handheld stuff lately, so I got these:

Meteos is bloody awesome. My favorite DS game yet, by far. I didn't expect to like it as much as I do.

Bomberman DS seems cool, but I haven't gotten a chance to play multiplayer yet (which is where the game will hopefully shine--eight players with one cart).

WarioWare Twisted is a lot more addicting than I expected it to be. The concept of the game sounded a little lame to me but I picked it up 'cause my girlfriend loves mini-games. I ended up liking it quite a bit, as well. The classic NES games are especially rad.

*Note: That's one of the new MGS2 mini-figures they're selling at GameStop. I wanted a Solid Snake or (believe or not) a Raiden which looks incredibly cool. Unfortunately, all they had was Otacon, Olga, and this guy at my local store. They had some of the Suikoden figures as well, but at my store all that was available was crap Suikoden III figures. :(

Just bought two crappy pedals and a 60 watt amp off a friend for $50, so I finally have something dedicated for my guitar to create ample sound waves. Unfortunately, I forgot the power supply for one of the pedals at his house, but I have to head out tomorrow to grab a couple extra cords for linking the pedals and amp together anyway so I'll probably pick up an extra PSU then as well.

Time for my roommates to hate me.

52 eps and 1 movie so far.

Eps. 1-26 season one have been aired on Cartoon Network and they will air season 2 27-52 starting in late Oct early Novemember I believe.

R1 DVDs are only out up to vol 3 (eps 9-12).

No announcements of a US release of the movie as of yet.

I celebrated my b-day by hitting Best Buy and getting a puzzle and board game collection for $20, then getting two Master Keaton DVDs for $4 apiece at Best Buy. I've wanted to get into that series, and while these DVDs don't have the first set of eps, for $8 total, I'll manage. I also got a much-needed haircut. Goodbye, fro/mullet. For now.

The Logitech keyboard I was using was annoying (always had to hit F-lock when I wanted to use the F keys) and the MX Laser while being a nice cordless mouse, suck for games (can't reprogram the buttons). Also I find a corded mouse to be much more reliable.

I was hawking ebay end of June but that one ended at (gulp!) $560+! There is no way I was going to pay that much, so I posted a want ad on atariage forum and a kind member there traded me the game for my turboexpress + $$.

So all in all, I feel quite lucky to get this and not have to spend anywhere near the $500+ ebay price! And it is really a great game, very intense space shooter and it runs very smoothly. I love the Star Raiders-esque mode called "Alone Against the Empire", great game!

Downloadable porn is inherently worse than what you can pay for because of lack of selection. It's definitely sufficient, but if I was rich, I'd just have a sub to every site I needed and not have to wait for a DL to finish.
