This doesn't matter. They're kind of important to the overall graphic quality, which is what we're discussing. And if the original Playstation and the N64 could only handle the RE games because they had prerendered backgrounds, that casts some doubt on whether the DS is capable of doing it effectively in full 3D.Quote:

Wow, big mistake on my part. I hope they can pull it off, and even if they have to downgrade the visuals, it could turn out well. I'm looking forward to seeing some screens. They won't be a perfect indicator of what it'll look like, but they'd give us all a good idea.

As much as I'd like to say otherwise, nothing I've seen on DS so far says it can pull off DC level graphics.
Silent Hill is probably a really good example of the minimum of what this game will end up looking like. And that game had as much atmosphere as just about anything ever, so every one can quit doubting already.
