I haven't flown on a plane since I became an adult. And besides, aren't airlines owned by corparations, making them a business?

AirLINES or AirPORTS?

But it doesn't stop there anyway. The fact is that you DO give up liberty for safety. You pay taxes right?

I must have missed/forgot about the founder who said you have the liberty to live in a community and use it and NOT help pay for it. My mind these days.

The government is responsible for the screeners. Transportation Security Administration, part of the DHS. Of course, you wouldnt know that, because:

Forget stupid lights or cameras. To even operate a car on a public road you need to have your personal information registered with the state you live in. Every car used on a public road must be registered with a state and show proof of such registration on the back bumper. To operate a car on a public road you need to posses car insurance, purchased from a private company.




Now, the fun part: explain how our public roads could operate in a safe and orderly manner without those three things.

And? what is your point?

That people love that Franklin quote and hold to it like it's the Law of God, but fail to realize that they do this very thing all the time.

Plus, why would you hang on to everything that someone who says "All people are equal" but owns slaves and doesn't fight for women's rights?
