There is no mention the religious motivations. Had the middle east been full of secular cultures, none of these bombings, beheadings, etc. would happen. These lunatics also don't care about the "common peoples"- they kill more of their "own" innocents than they do their enemy. Also, don't forget how oppressive (especially to women) Islamic cultures are.

On a semi-related note: I was attending/working for Rutgers U before, during, and after 9-11. The collegate "elite" destroyed all respect I (and others) had for them during this time.

Pre 9-11 Rutgers Professors (history, sociology depts.):
"OMG the US is anti-semetic! Jews are mistreated every day! The US delayed entry into WWII so as to maximize the time the death camps were open!"

Post 9-11 Rutgers Professors:
"OMG the US is a Zionist state! Israel and the Jews have taken over the country! The Jews want to rule the world!"

In a matter of months, the US went from being anti-semetic to being a Zionist nation.
