The devastation down there especially upsets me, as I went to New Orleans on vacation a few years ago (I stayed in the French Quarter) and it really is an absolutely beautiful city, filled with rich architecture and history. The thought of all the (possibly permanent) damage being done, both by the flooding and the looters, is sickening.

The looting there is getting really bad now. I have read about looters carjacking, SHOOTING AT RESCUERS, and somebody was shooting at the military rescue helicopters. They had to evacuate a fully functional hospital because a gang of armed looters were trying to break in and steal shit. I have no faith in humanity sometimes, it's amazing how thin the threads of society really are. Those with enough energy to loot could be helping search and rescue personell find people and evacute themselves.

French Quarter is one of the few areas that didnt get wtfpwned. But, yeah, New Orleans is ruined for at least 5-8 years

I'm the last person anyone would call racist, but there are TONS of videos of the looting playing on all the news channels and 99.9% of the looters in every single one of the videos is black. Not making any kind of blanket statement, just stating a simple fact.

Personally, I'm sure whites are looting too, it's just they're smart enough not to let someone video them doing it. ;)

BTW, in a disaster situation, there's a difference between "finding" food and water and "finding" guns, sneakers, and diamond watches.

It's not only the fact that these pieces of shit are grabbing everything that isn't nailed down, it's the fact that they're so fucking arrogant, brash and even PROUD about looting. They're being videotaped doing it, not caring or bothering to hide their faces, even to the point that most of them smile into the camera lens. They don't run, they saunter around with their plunder, walking casually like they're not even doing anything wrong.

I swear, they should just pull out all the cops and rescue workers and then pump a few million volts into the water and fry everyone, as whoever's left in New Orleans at this point has no business being there.

Did you see the one where they looted a fat black woman who lived in one of those old 80's model house trailers? That was just fucking sad. The woman lived in a shitty old trailer and they had the balls to take her tv and clothes. That TV, next to her fridge, was probably her best friend.

The retard jesus-fest woman i work with says that this happened because of the massive amount of sinning that goes on in the area, mentioning Mardi Gras.
