Keeping your computer free of spyware

I think everyone at this point has heard about how I've had my debit card and checking account info stolen.

Up until now I've trusted my dad to manage the antispyware part of the home network since he owns most of the equipment hooked up to it. I'm not really sure how this person got my info but I don't really want to take any chances by assuming that it isn't my family's (me included) fault.

Anyway, to the point, what does everyone else do to keep their computers protected and free of spyware?

I use a combination of Adaware and Security Task Manager. And I keep Windows as updated as possible.

Download MS AntiSpyware and use Firefox or Opera. I haven't been infected with spyware in ages.

Firefox + Adaware + Spybot = no problems.

And seriously. Get your porn from torrents, or Stile, and stop browsing porn sites.

I only had a dll missing, other then that everything works.
