Not entirely sure. Still debating a side career in art, will probably be starting as a tattoo artist next year which makes pretty good money and is fun to do. Was going to do it this year but I still have to raise cash for a few nessecary purchases on top of a security cushion, and since it's already into the summer that's killed my prime opportunity to get in (if only I lived somewhere without shitty winters) since people like to be retards about getting tattoos. Beyond that there's always the prospect of massotherapy and I think it'd be cool to make movies but otherwise most careers don't appeal to me.
Right now I'm working a shitty job because I can abuse the hell out of it and get away with just about anything and otherwise enjoying life and the massive amounts of free time I have.I dine out 2-3 times a day (cooking at home = nachos once every few weeks) and buy plenty of games and movies yet manage to save about $500 out the $1000 or so I make per month on top of rent and bills. Unless you're continuously buying new stereo equipment or electronics, luxury purchases are not that hard to keep low provided you shop around.Quote:

But really, the only regret I haves in life are not learning to speak more languages, not learning piano, and not keeping two promises. I toured for several years with my band, have a good reputation in my hometown scene, and have very good friends, and am with the girl I've been in love with since I was twelve. I've reached all the goals I had when I was younger. For the future, I hope to see more of the world, especially China and Antarctica. I hope to teach mythology and history, to supplement my income as a writer. I'd also like to get one of those old sailing ships restored, and take people out on it to teach them about pirate history and astrogation, etc. More than anything though, I'm going to get another band started soon.
I also fully intend to give a heroic account of myself during the zombie outbreak.
Anyway, it sounds like a lot of TNLers are going to lead incredibly boring lives.Quote:

No money saved or anything...I felt bad for them.
Most of it is pretty interesting to me. All the way from being a bum, to working a 9-5, to entrepreneurship, playing music/selling art, etc.Quote:

Do you expect someone to say they're going to work for the CIA by day, and bang Miss Universe by night?
Me and my girl used to own a home, we had two car payments, two insurance payments, morgage payment, blah blah blah. We did this in a city built for rich white people on a combined income just shy of 40k a year.
Stop throwing your money around on silly things.
Well I plan on being an evil genius and banging Miss Universe by night.Quote:
