I would kill lots of people for a DVD audio 5.1 mix of the Blue Album.
I doubt I'd ever listen to anything else.

On a whim I checked the bit-rate of the yahoo music subscription WMA files. They are 192.
So much for the quality argument, though I have heard other services are using 128, which sucks. Isn't Napster 128?
Heres a good question: what is a good medium I should be shooting for when I rip my CD's onto my HDD? I hear all this nonsense about OGG and it makes me wonder if I should look into it a little further. I'm just looking for a common ground where I can have a quality track with a relatively small file size. Any recommendations on what I should be converting to?
VHS tape
.ogg files are fairly large. 30-40mb a song, sometimes more. It's really not worth the file space compared to 256 and 320kbpsQuote:
