I'd settle for a port of the original, and maybe a new Techromancer.Quote:

I agree almost completely with this post. I just wouldn't want to see top level play suffer. Not that I'm a top level player or anything. Just that there has to be a way to let TLP go on unhindered while still making the game fresh and accessable. Though, honestly, I can't think of a fighting game that has done so... ever.Quote:

Just for the record, couldn't this just as easily turn out to be that Capcom vs Guilty Gear game that was announced ages ago, but has yet to actually be shown?
i'll take either SF4 or CvGG, both sound awesome.
This project died in its infancy (the project head left the company for one thing) so it's a little unlikely.Quote:

I'd argue against that. It may be anecdotal evidence, but I know a lot of people that want to play fighting games, essepcially 2D ones, but don't want to put in the effort to learn all the fancy new tricks that they use. I'd be willing to bet that there are a ton of people willing to put on their nostalgia glasses for a coupla hours to play a fighting game that was accessible to them.Quote:

Doesn't the PSP d-pad suck for fighting games? I remember people weren't so enamored with Darkstalkes when it came out for PSP.Quote:

Well, those were all weird remix fighters, and this should be a full-fledged sequel judging by its name alone.
I would certainly not expect a sequel to rehash sprites.
This is Capcom we're talking about here.Quote:
