I really hate MMORPGS. I tried Everquest 1 and FF11 and I hated them both. Kill wasps for 10 days straight while assholes that don't want to help me call me noob all day. Gee, where can I sign up? Those games are boring and tedious. I also never liked the Grand Theft Auto games much, it's fun to mess around on them but the stories never intrigued me.
3D Fighters, 3D Platformers, Car sim games, Rainbow Six 3

There's a new threat in our land, please kill 15 Defias Pillagers and 15 Defias Gangbangers, and while you're at it make sure to pick up 8 of their face bandanna's, too. You'd think that since every model has a face bandanna every one you kill would drop them. Not so. You're still killing enemies over and over again, but knowing it's for an item or experience is what really helps the game not be so focused on just killing.
I did until I got bored because it's so shallow.Quote:

Yeah, that's why I said "far less" and not "no."Quote:

The instanced dungeons also really help put WoW above the other MMOs IMO.
Seriously, give WoW a try. I work with a guy who had been playing FF11 for a while and was getting sick of its crap, so I told him to switch to WoW and he hasn't looked back. If you want to be a dwarf or gnome, let me know and I'll create an alt to quest with you. It's so much more fun if you have a dedicated teammate with a similar level to you.Quote:
