Halo 3 had better look at least this good.

That's a pretty sweet start.
All cut-scenes.
Wouldn't doubt it.
Looks gay.
Not impressed.
Looks like in game cinematics w/ lots of blur effects.
Does it still control like Rebel Strike's on-foot?
Now that I've seen this, I want all my in-game screenshots to have random Celtic runes all over them. Nothing screams "actual gameplay shot!" like having random bits of ancient foreign text popping up all over.
Didn't bother decoding the bottom text on the shots, but the primary text in picture 1 is Gods, 2 is Men, and 3 is Aesir. Also, the second thumbnail is Monsters, and fifth is Gods again.
-edit- The text on the bottom is just straight alphabet, and serves no purpose other than to show how Celtic-y things are. Whee....

I'm gonna put my judgement in a gerber baby food(carrots) jar and wait till more information arises, but as of right now my hopes wont be getting high unless they have a little greenery.
that looks pretty crappy.
Those screens are fine, but why release screenshots of cut-scenes? I thought only EA did that.
Why does every single futuristic shooter have to involve the hero or "good" soldiers all wearing armored bodysuits? Come on guys, the Halflife series nerfed that shit for you. Halo was the finishing blow. The screenshots look interesting, but I never knew this game was yet, ANOTHER, futuristic game. It looks like another GENERIC futuristic game. I'll wait until I see more to judge it, but these screens don't instill me with relief.
I want this franchise to be great.
Ah, but Microsoft wasn't making bullshit promises now were they?Quote:

Is that game for the next gen systems?
Yep.

Looks like 30 other upcoming games. Sure its got awesome graphics, but at this point who cares?
The problem I see doesn't lay in the graphics, it lays in the art direction.
Exactly. Give me some more unqiue art design, I am getting tired of cold grey future landscapes with metal military suits. Its just tiresome.Quote:

Nice to know generic and weak art design will carry over to the next-gen.
