Actually, from reading the article and the comments, it sounds like the headset needs to be in pairing mode in order for this hack to work. I don't know about other brands, but my own Jabra BT200 has to be explicitly set to pairing mode. Otherwise, for the most part, it's not discoverable.Quote:

This exploit, seems pretty pointless. I used to hack around on old AMPS phones all the time and easedrop on people and never really heard any juicy conversations too often. If someone wants to hear me call home to see whats for dinner, more power to them.
