According to Charlie Murphy, you can put a fork in Chappelle's Show cause it's done. Apparently ol' Dave is too hooked on WoW or whatever to bother working, and its not like he has to after signing that fifty million dollar contract for the third season. What a bastard.

There's no way Comedy Central gave him any of that money.

Yeah, one would assume that if Dave didn't live up to his side of the bargin that he wouldn't get shit.

he still gets royalties from the dvd sales even if CC doesn't pay him for the contract he breached

Damn, that really sucks. Well, I bet there will be a DVD release of the extra episodes, but Dave might have a hard time getting movie roles with this hanging over his head.

Well, of course- he lived up to that part of the bargin and made seasons one and two, so he deserves the dough. But you were talking about the new 50 million dollar contract that he skipped out on.

Dave can make the 50 mil back in a heartbeat, with a simple "Eddie Murphy Raw" type of concert movie. Release it in theaters, let all the "Im Rick James Bitch" sreaming fratboys buy the DVD, and rake in the dough.
