I doubt we'll ever see anything good released from MTV, they haven't released Beavis and Butt-Head which was huge, and all the Liquid TV and Aeon Flux DVDs that Pioneer released are LONG out of print.Quote:

The Time Life DVDs have a few of the videos from bands that were nice enough to not care, but that's it, unfortuantely. They got away with it on MTV because they had the rigts to show those videos. Plus, broadcasting, and making for home video are two separate contracts. That's why a lot of TV shows have changes when they come to DVD.Quote:

I only deal with stuff NOT available though. I have The Maxx, Clone High, Aeon Flux, and 3 South currently for MTV stuff. Ialso used my capture card to record all the Space Ghost episodes they couldn't put on DVD (They had a marathon like a year and a half back).Quote:

I got into music in 1994 when I got a TV of my very own. I used to watch their top 20 countdown, it was rad. They had a two hour block of videos at night I would watch, as well. Pretty much every night. And there was a three or four hour block of videos during the day. I also watched some of their other shit, like those documentaries about sex =O. Anyway, my first two CDs - Nirvana Unplugged and Dookie - were probably my first because I really liked the About a Girl and Longview.
Anyway, over time the channel just became unbearable but it was pretty cool at that time.
My first CD was the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II soundtrack haha.. my first CD of music I still listen to was Ten from Pearl Jam. i guess that makes me an old fart around here ;)
A post earlier reminded of the greatness that was clone high and mtv descision the cut the great work of animation was the last straw for me. I've hardly watched ever since.
