Stern to pay radio, now to pay TV!

They bring up a good point about it being cheaper to watch it on TV, but at least the extra $3/month gets you all the other stations too. It'll be interesting to see how this pans out.

whos howard stern?...lol just kidding but seriously who cares does anyone here even listen to him on sirius? Even though i used to watch his show on E! but im not a horny listtle kid anymore :)

It's a good move for him, because he'll finally be able to transmit his shows without anyone hitting the dump button out of fear of the FCC. I never caught the E! Show because listening to his radio show was enough, but I'll subscribe to the channel when I finally break down and get digital cable.

I will get Sirius when he makes the move, but I really hope those guys can make a competent walkman device.

Ahh, so that's what that was the other morning. I tuned in and heard him ranting about that biotch Heather Wilson again and I thought it was a rerun of when he announced the Sirius deal.

I know he thinks he won, but it sucks that we can't hear half the things we used to on the radio. Fucking whiny pussies always get their way. Screw them.

10 bucks a month? No thanks. That's double what I was willing to pay.

I listen for the interviews of celebs I care about (and some I don't because they are crazy) and just the bits and how they make fun of people. I couldn't care less about butt bongo and the naked chicks on stump the booey. That's why I watched the Stern show on E! instead of listening, so I could see what was going on. I liked how they had the preview at the beginning.. if it was just them with a porn star or something along those lines, I wouldn't bother.

I just hope they can keep it as funny, and not make it obscene just because they can. In other words, keep it how it is, don't go overboard with the freedom. It's the reason old Ren and Stimpy worked, and new one didn't. I watched the E! show because I like to see what's going on, instead of relying on descriptions, plus I was never up in time to listen to the show... and if I was, I had to be somewhere :)

Is Howard Stern really that much of a fucking pull?

He's funny if your 11, or find hearing some guy talk about naked chicks is so kewl.

On the radio it's that or Imus, who is old and a completely worthless husk of a human being. I guess there's like Bob & Tom, but they're just not funny enough. Atleast Stern can keep me chuckling with some regularity.
