This game has been $20 for a while now.
I would've bought it weeks ago but my manager was only willing to go down to $15 and I wanted it at $10. Oh well.

man god damn for fifteen bucks just grab the sucker!! :-)
I'll buy it when I get through with PGR3.
Eh. I'm sure it's a decent enough racer and all but I already own two racing games for the 360 and I'd rather play those. $10 is a fantastic impulse purchase price, more then that and it starts getting into large enough chunks that could go towards something I'd really want instead.
I feel you, I'm just in love with Ridge Racer and I want you to be too.
Picked it up again and I'm enjoying more than before. Which is strange cause between the stupid hard last 5% of explorer mode and the online comunity that by now mostly consists of hardcore players there isn't much but frustration to be had.
Okay, I got it this week when I saw it for $17 new. The game felt really wrong for me until I switched to the the control scheme that had the accelerator mapped to A. Steer with the dpad, and it feels like Ridge Racer again.
I'm enjoying it, everything looks nice, though you can tell why it got poor reviews coming out alongside PGR3 (I can't tell why both those games got destroyed saleswise by Need For Speed on launch day, though). Simple control scheme, not much tension or difficulty early on, better framerate but the visuals can't really compare, and RR6 has nothing on PGR's in-car view. That said, I've found myself playing more of RR6, something about that gameplay is just timeless and mesmerizing.
I wish it didn't rope you into 10 race circuits, though. God help you if you have to redo some races, you'll be sitting there for an hour and a half.
I'm loving RR6 and I'm tolerant of Chris Rock.
