It was beyond terrible, much worse than even last year.
Did like the best internet player award. Glad Leroy Jenkins won over Chocolate Milk Kid.
Were you actualy expecting it to be good? G4 is about as lame as FDR. The only reason I ever turn to it is if there is nothing else is on or I happen to see some info/footage on games I'm interested in.
They tried for an MTV-like presentation, forgetting that half the games like Tales of Symphony and Katamari Damacy would make the people they paid to cheer in the audience go "wtf?"
On the plus side, the preview for Need for Speed: Most Wanted blew the Killzone demo away, and Full Auto is looking pretty hot too. Maybe Killzone isn't all that unrealistic of an expectation for these next gen games.

WTF was the bottle thing about? Why was Master Chief in a Dirtbike costume. Are they that broke? Why did they skip over 6 categories, but give us 4 concerts?
I wish Tommy was here to explain what they were aiming for.
I watched it and was actually suprised to see Ralph Baer receive the Gaming Legend award. They did a brief history of his life and then brought him out on stage to say a few words.
That was probably my favorite part of the show. The only other part I really enjoyed was the "Best Online Gamer" category where they showed the chocolate milk kid, sleeping Halo 2 guy and Leeeroy Jenkins.
