I'll agree that Myst games cause the sleepy time.
I can't even watch Myst in display monitors without yawning. Space Quest was an amazing series. I also liked King's Quest, but lets face it -- sci-fi > fantasy. (although LOtR > Star Wars so...)
I really liked this series when I was younger. I played it with my dad on the Apple IIGS.
Graphics is tight. Son.

The lost Chapter is a fan made creation. It either used the AGI editor or the AGS editor. The former is a way to create and modify 16 color EGA games.
AGS is a 256 color DOS style system that mainly specializes in point and click fan games. Including the Fan Made, and quite buggy, Quest for Glory 4 and one half.
I loved the Space Quest Games, Number III was the first game I bought for any PC. And I picked up as many sierra games as I could.
Then put them in an attic where they oxidized, dang!
I never felt that MYST was really a Computer Game so much as a Riddle.
The interface is not conductive to gaming, but the fact that virtually everything is a hint to something makes it a fascinating challenge for someone looking for a decent electronic riddle that they can digest at their own pace.
Or Sleep, it really does the trick.
Wow. Now that's a tough call.Quote:

I always cracked up at the one space quest where roger went back in time to when it was like 8 bit and he was better animated and stood out.
And those "hercules" Monochrome biker thugs that tried to maul him in the bar. One would think time traveling through sequels would be creative enough to be in more than one game.
My favorite space quest moment? Putting Space Monkeys in my drink at that bar in Space Quest IV.
Also I liked Spike, Roger's pet Face Hugger. And how he helped save Bea, despite Roger having a thick head.
