Maybe not, but they were also earlier and on weaker hardware.

werent the OoT and MGS reviews in the same Next Gen? they werent that far apart.

MGS came out in October 1998, Zelda in November 1998.

OoT sucked, btw.

Um MGS did a damn good job. You never played it for the NES did you? Then to see it in 3d with movie like effect and excellent story line was awsome. MGS was something the world had never seen before.

MGS never came out for the NES, slugger.

So you want Nintendo to take away the best parts huh, you'd love that wouldn't you. Those things don't make it a rehash they make it a sequel.

They were both great. I would take OOT over MGS any day.
