"After roughly 500 hours, it's over."
I don't understand who could play any of them that long. They start boring me after about 50 or so.
500? Two hours every single day means that's 8 months of solid playing

WOW is hands down the better game. I don't have a lot of time for online games and i still managed to hit level 26 with my warrior. This wasn't even consistent play. I'd just put in an hour every couple of days.
There's nothing wrong with enjoying SW:Galaxies. The recent revamp has really changed the way the game plays. One of the best changes for me, was that I no longer had to produce stims to heal myself and other characters. Having medic training, means I can do a Bacta heal on command.
no actually you quoted numbers in your second post, your first post was you trying to be a douche by taking giga's post about "millions" literally. and are you sure you are a math major?Quote:

according to the chart on the site you posted, the only numbers you have mentioned in the discussion, wow is at 2,000,000 now since then we have heard of them being at 2.5 mil, but we are using the numbers you were using to "prove" your case.
975,000X3= 2,925,000 which is quite a bit more than 2,000,000
and as for wether wow perfects whats been done before, or just does the same as is done before is debateable, we have discussed before the lack of variation of character appearences(which you agreed with, by the way), the weak combat animations, and unimpressive low level game, none of those things says perfection to me, it says pretty but totally unoriginal, with a snazzy dependence on phat loot for an endgame. mech is right, the worlds are a triumph, but it takes a bit more than pretty to make a good game. You oversell swg's weaknesses and drasticly overestimate wow's strengths.
im impressed, i didnt find myself having that kind of speed, but the leveling thing was diffs point on another thread, that the game becomes fun after you hit a certian level and not fun before that, i agreed with half of that. i will agree abotut he terrain, i rave about how beautiful the terrain is, i wish coh and swg looked that good, because i prefer them and would like to play in a world that pretty, but pretty dosent save it from being rehash.Quote:

Now would be the perfect opportunity to draw IP... but I'm too damn lazy. Someone do it for me.

Man, Yoshi did it in like 4 months. He's a MMO monster. It's amazing he's still married.Quote:

The game is so horribly generic and souless that is heeelarious to me.
Given, the warcraft universe still has many of the mythic/fantasy/adventure genre mainstays, but the put a level of flourish, not to mention they flesh it out to a degree never seen in an MMO (or a maybe a game) ever.
^_^ it got you to lol, so it wasn't too bad.Quote:
