Foiled again!
$700 U.S.?
I gotta find me those old EB fliers from the Xbox/PS2 launch.
Edit: At least for the XBox it was:
-System
-One Madcatz accessory
-Two launch games
Maybe it was about $600-700 Cdn, but I can't remember.
Must've been, Xbox was $460 CDN at launch (which, unfortunately, was what led to me getting a GC instead. Nothing but Luigi's Mansion & Monkey Ball for like a year :curse: ) But it's tough to compare, because the exchange rate's changed like 15-20% since then.Quote:

I've never had problems getting a system near launch, and not one console has ever been released here that I didn't have an opportunity to buy in the first week.Quote:

A lot of stores will limit the number of systems they sell per day, because they can bring more people to the store if there's a chance of getting a system everyday for a whole week.
That's hillarious.
This is EB only, right? I bet the only game worth playing will be PGR3 on that list. This is straight up retarded.
Really? You were able to just walk into a store when the PS2 came out and just pick one up off the shelf? You need to tell me where to shop. (No, seriously).Quote:

I expect this mofo to be really tough to find.
Fuck the bundle, nobody gets to tell me how to spend my money.
Current plan- Launch system, PGR3, Kameo, and trading my wireless controller for a wired one with a co-worker who snagged the Core system. And that's it, nothing else.
Also, any store out there will toe the company line publically of "This is the bundle, this is what you get" while happily swapping out the games when nobody is looking. Brown-nose to the higher ups, try to run a business that keeps customers at least somewhat happy at the same time. It's a damn stupid balancing act to have to perform.
Tangent- I'm sad that Burnout Revenge isn't launch any more, if it's actually being developed for the 360 in the first place. Admitted, two racing games is a bit much, but both titles are must haves.

$10 saved, but $10 extra shipping fee? How fucking convenient. I'm so glad I don't have to deal with their BS anymore.
