Shogun Empires and Feel the Magic 2 DS screens.
-
Wait, hold on... I thought the DS could only do 3D on one screen at a time. Am I wrong?
-
It would appear that way, but damn is that ever some shitty-looking 3D. You can make out each tile used for the grass for goodness sake.

Shogun Empires is the ugliest game I have ever seen; a TI-83 can produce better 3D graphics than that.
-
both games will blow butt

Sort of. The DS has 2 2D GPUs and 1 3D GPU. If you want 3D on both screens you can either use the 3D GPU on one screen and do your 3D in software on the second screen, or have the GPU output to both screens but at ~half the frame rate. I think the Shogun game does the latter, since it looks like a continuous scene across both screens.

Man, for a Nintendo hater like me, the DS' graphic capabilities are just the gift that keeps on giving.

There are about a dozen upcoming DS games that look promising. These are not on that list.

I had such high hopes for Shogun coming out of E3, but watching video it really does look pretty bad - it's an RTS, and the engine is pretty feeble, though the models have improved since the last time I saw it. It's being made by Namco USA though, so really, it not being amazing isn't exactly coming out of left field.
