I was going to pick it up before I left for E3 last week, since I had to fly cross-country... Software Etc "nope, we only got two in, both pre orders". EB "Nope, didn't get any". Walmart, Target, etc "what game?". I checked something like eight different stores, couldn't find a copy anywhere.
It's like FF Tactics all over again. I guess I can order it online :/ Whatta pain. I picked up ZOE instead, which may have been my worst gaming purchase since, well, the first ZOE!
Well, when it first came out, a few local places were sold out of it but I found an EB on the other side of town that had it in. Atlus games are sometimes harder to find than they should be. Explains what the PSX Tactics Ogre and Ogre Battle go for on eBay ;)

and I found the PSX Ogre Battle a few years back for 15 bucks in Kaybee...and there was two of them and I still kick myself for not buying that extra copy.
This game is very difficult to find anywhere. I've tried to find it at 4 different EB's a software etc.,best buy wal-mart, target, etc.

You can get games cheaper online anyway, I hardly ever buy stuff in store these days because it is much easier and cheaper to get them online, the only thing I still usually buy in store is systems... unless of coarse I can get them much cheaper online :)Quote:

I think it's a regional thing as well. I live in South Florida, and I walked into a GameStop about a week after it was released and said "I'll take a GBA and Tactics Ogre." No problem. When I heard about some shortages I looked around in my area, and most stores had a copy or two...

yeah we only got like 6 luckily i got mine on release and then another shipment liek the other day that sold ou tin a few hours also
Well, the game hasn't been discontinued *yet*...it's still listed as active in Babbage's system. I just bought a copy for myself tonight - I had to go to SEVEN stores to find it, finally found a Circuit City with one copy left. $34.99. Now to find a good deal on a GBA... ;)
There's plenty at the EB here in Savannah, GA. but it sounds like I should go ahead and get one soon. This game looks so damn cool, I gotta rustle up some cash.
I cant find it either, and Im in central Florida. Guess we have better taste than you south Floridians.(unfortunatly some of us dont have the forsight to pre order.. namely me.) hehe =P

All righty, after seeing numerous copies of Ogre Battle 64 when it first came out I thought GBA Tactics would get similar distribution. Guess I was wrong, time to head to Software Etc. *-neo
