I just changed mine. But I feel dirty. Then again, it is drop dead sexy. Gotta love the sexy small sub.
Anyway, this is the second time I have changed my avatar since the days of GG! First the MS tank and zombie created by Nick, then the cheap Mai, and now this... I feel as if I hvae disowned something...
Ah well, time goes on.
I never did find my old NiGHTS av....

Well, I also changed my avatar for about 4 or 5 times. Originally I had desparate face :), than came mask of something, which was quite cool. After that I found really nice Dante pic that I kept for quite a while, until the cool Sparda picture was found, and I played around with it, and made a cool avatar.
But recently, I found some really nice Shadow Hearts art work, so I made Yuri avatar to finish my SH theme :) I will keep this for a while, but who knows whats ahead :)

I used to have a Shaq-Fu avatar in the GG and early TNL days...
I haven't regretted changing it to my current one
i always was fond of my klonoa snowboarding av.
I believe I still have Daredevil as my avatar, but I'm not sure. I've customized my settings to remove all avatars and sigs since everything in this forum loads faster without them and I figure out that sigs and avatars are a waste of time anyway.

I stole Nick's back at GG! originally, then I made my own RCR one real quick. Later I had a Tails avatar, however someone kept resizing it, so I gave that up for my current one. This one has been through a couple forum changes, so it's a keeper.
Nick, I'm glad to see you went back to the original avatar. The resized version looked like ass, pun intended. :)

If you want to continue tampering with it before you (kindly) upload it for me, you are free to do so, my only thought would be to make the BG color go better with the TNL color scheme, but I wonder how that would make the lettering look. :/

I first used a smiley at GameGO!, until early-mid June when I found my first real avatar from Final Fantasy Anime. In October Johnpv was kind to make me my very own original avatar based on the picture I used in the first few 'Picture' threads, the background, which by far received the most comments was actually a split second decision. When we transferred to TNL I made my, unable to find Johnpv's avatar I made my own colorful one, of a purple dog. When TNL crashed and we moved on to the Forums I switched back to Johnpv's originally made avatar, that I found when searching through the GameGO! archives. Unfortunately on the vBulletin boards I have been avatarless, seaking a change from Johnpv's avatar, as my personality changes, I have yet to find another person willing to draw an original, with input from me.
Yes, there was Wildcat, but I don't know what the situation is...
Ever since the whole "mail your avatar to the mods and they will upload it" concept went out the window, there is no longer a need to say with the same avatar for a long period of time.

I've just always had my wolfman. The sig is still the original sig as well. Makes me nice and recognizable I guess.
I had about 4 different avatars since the beginning of GameGO! till now, both the first 2 where Yugo from Bloody Roar 1 and another from Bloody Roar 3; the next one was from the Slayers anime and the one I have now is a small character pic from the cancelled Werewolf Apocalypse game from Capcom :( I may have changed my avatar but the theme is always the same, they where all werewolves :)
I am about due for another one shortly, but not until I find one I like ;)
At GameGo, I had that Galaga one that Rick made me. After one of the board changes, someone else started using it (don't remember who). I was going to yell at him about it, but I decided that I felt like getting a new avatar anyway. I had gotten into Excel Saga at the time, and decided that I wanted a Nabeshin avatar. To my surprise, there was one uploaded. I used it until I made myself this one.

After the avatar limits were upped, it seemed kinda scrawny in comparison to everyone's elses big, shiny, new ones, so I took it down. I was going to bug Nick to have him resize it for me, 'cause I can't use Photoshop to save my life, but then I decided that I needed a change. And I haven't thought of anything to replace it with yet.
Metal Slug, your new avatar looks great! I prefer the transparent b/g one but they both look wonderful. :)

Making avatars is fun, I try not to change too frequently though.

I briefly flirted with the red ship from Zanac Neo after I came to TNL, but I always seem to return to the River City Ransom sauna scene - now in its fourth version. Chibi Nappa has the right idea.

Since the most recent death and rebirth of the TNL boards, I've changed names and avatars like underwear. However, when I've been Yoshi (and I will forever be now), I like the one I have. What do you think? The moonlight filter or the standard green and tan?
Moonlight? I thought it was recolored that way to go with the 'Jaded' in your custom status.

Back @ GGO!, I was avatar-less slartibartfast.
I then evolved to Alphonso Biscuit-Rake, and I used the Cosmic Smash dude.
Now, I have (d)evolved further, and am using part of the CD cover from Front Line Assembly's album Millennium, because I've a die-hard industrial music gearhead for years upon years.
I don't foresee changing my current name or avatar in the near future. I both like em a lot.

When I first came here, I shifted between Protoman, Vega, Guy, Cody, Ibuki and Sakura until I got my original Mihoshi av uploaded, which I kept the rest of the time of the 1st board. When we got the new board I redid it bigger and put a drawing of me in it. After that I put a different Mihoshi along with Tifa, Blue Mary and Cammy. Then I got a bit tired of Mihoshi (I still love you! ^^) so the last three have been of Nique from Sinfest which I have colored. Now it's Juli and Juni, but I think I may change it again.
I haven't changed that much. I had Lain back at GG! And since coming here, I had Lain again, and then DDP, and then Christian, and, in honor of T4 coming out in Japan, Paul Phoenix.
There may have been others, but I can't remember them.
Maybe it's time to change again...

I have MADE all of my avatars, but the only one I have drawn is when the avatar size increased, I drew me with Mihoshi. But otherwise, nope.
At GO! I had my name done in BTTF font. That avatar carried over to this board. Board crashed, and I lost it. In a fit of avatarlessness I did one in MSpaint that sucked. I then switched over to the one I have now, which is by far my favorite one.
I also used Johnpv's avatar for a day, but that caused a problem of sorts.
Chux Mix is the shizzle for real. I had an earthbound Av once...but then I made my Honey Nut Chux Cereal Box...and well, why not use it.
What the hell. In a fit of bordeom, I have yet another new one. What do you guys think?
I think I'll stick with this. I might change it around a bit, but it'll stay an ampersand.

I think I went through 2 Seth Avatars, a Steel Avatar, and now this Avatar of Kazuma from Scryed. I'll probably be changing again soon though once I find an avatar that's appropriate.
I never have to change my avatar again. I use it everywhere too. The only board where I use a different avatar is on GamingForce..but its just a really big version of the current one.
I always prefer that people don't change their avatars. Then I can read the forums and know who everyone is right away instead of extra reading.....yes Im that lazy :p
