Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins (PSP)

It's the worst thing when opinions are recycled. Different sources should equal different opinions, no matter the umbrella corp running it. I remember Imagine using the same lame Francesca Reyes review for Next Gen and OCD.

Ugh @ Parish.

I actually got to play the demo of this today. Sure, it's hard as fuck, but I think it's really well done. It seems kinda like a hybrid of the SNES and Genny game. Not as annoying as the SNES game, as it feels a lot more responsive. Yet not as smooth as the Genny game.

And hmm, yeah, it's retarded for Parish to have such weight on this product.

The problem with this is that his shitty opinion goes up on GameRankings not once, not twice, but three times, affecting the aggregate score way more than it should. This could lead to lost sales from people who do look at aggregate scores.

Parish's two reviews help bring the score down from a high 80's to a low 70's. He has another one coming.

Actually, that's a good point, and a little disturbing. I was about to defend this guy for having an opinion that dares to veer from his peers and your expectations, but that gamerankings triple-threat thing shouldn't be happening, no argument.

I totally didn't realize that Parish was/is the Toasty Frog guy. My whole world is now shattered. (And yeah, WTF with him doing the same review for multiple publications.)

I saw we all get together and roll him at E3.

I'd love to see this game sell as well as Dead Rising if not better and become really popular among gamers. That would be the only way to reveal hacks like Parish for what they really are. Unfortunately, I dont think the PSP user base is large enough to see this happen. :(
