He wouldn't have had to do anything if the very goverment pressing charges against him had done even a half-assed job.

Any official who presses charges against someone like that in a situation like this needs to be shot.
End of story. I'm tired of watching this crap and seeing the gas prices go up. Oh wow, 2 oil things got destroyed. How the fuck does that effect Canada's gas? It doesn't. They are trying to make money off a tradegy and it's disgusting.

Everything is corrupt. It just goes to show you that when stuff like this happens. Nobody cares unless it happens to them.

Let's put IP's post into AP style - He liberated that bus and rescued those people. Here's something I found about via the 20/20 special - over 20 dialysis centers were destroyed in just NO. Think about how many people could be dying just from that.

Driving a school bus is suprisingly easy. Since the kid didn't have to worry about all the regulations with loading, unloading, parking, stops and turns it's no surprise he made it to Houston in on piece.

It would be like charging a man who saved a baby from a neighbor's burning house with trespassing.

Those two oil platforms getting destroyed shouldn't have effected gas prices at all. The ONLY reason those things got destroyed was because they were unsunk and taken into the dock for repairs. They were NOT being used in the first place. If they were being used, they would have never floated away. Those things are built like small death stars, and hurricanes do not have water luke skywalkers on their side.
