OMG .22 beer

I was going to mention this earlier but apparently there are Beer Wars ' a brewin between Miller and Budweiser. Which equal insanely low beer prices. I just bought an 18 pack of Miller Lite for 4 fucking dollars :tu: which is like 22 cent beer. Like every store in Gainesville sold out over the weekend from what I hear.Who said war was hell?

Are you guys also seeing this in other parts of the country?

Oh and it probably wont show what the reduced price is on the aisle or whatever - as the price reduction comes from a bunch of coupons stamped all over the box that the cashier peels off and rings up.....so like, ask around if you're unsure about buying...

I remember buying a 30 pack of natty ice in college for 5 bucks

and a like 1 gallon plastic jug of gordons vodka for like 6 - 8 bucks

Looks like I'm gonna start picking up on my old drinking habit soon.

Especially impressive because I turned 21 yesterday and last night was my first time going to a real bar where I could order whatever I wanted, not what was handed to me, and I was thrilled. "No more drinking shitty beer!" Until I realized how much everything costs at a bar. Even the shitty beer.

I thought that 6 pack of Anchor Steam I got earlier in the day was expensive. I had no idea how wrong I really was. :(

And that's why I only visit bars where I know people that work, so half my drinks are free and the other half are 50% off. Bars are WAY too expensive to casually drink at, I'd rather invite a group of people over and just visit the alcohol store.

I thought flasks were for the workplace.

Besides, I go through too much if I'm purposefully drinking for a flask to do anything. I'd need one of those camping canteens and I think they might notice that.

$0.22 for Miller and Bud is still way too much. That shit tastes like piss.

I drink certain beers because they taste good, not just because I wanna get fucked up. I'd drink hard stuff if I just wanted to get trashed. Works a lot quicker.
