I didn't think it looked terrible, kind of half-cooked...the animations clearly weren't finished. I like the new models, even though everyone looks even more hulked out than usual. But it certainly wasn't up to the standards of some other next gen games...the lighting looked wrong, everyone comes across like an action figure instead of photorealistic.

Battlefield 2 was developed by Digital Illusions CE. EA just published it.

Battlefield can't run on a huge number of machines. It has something to do with videocards and compatability issues. DICE wasn't entirely successful. Battlefield 2 is a game I dearly wish I could play, too.
