One time I was playing SVC: Chaos in the local arcade and this guy just comes up to me, puts his hand on my shoulder, leans up against me, looks up, smiles, and then tells me "Wow, you're really good."

At this point I'm looking down at him with the total 'What the fuck do you think you're doing?' look on my face. I'm doing this for a full minute before I realize he isn't going to take the hint so I move away from him and just sigh. At this point he starts crying. I'm getting my ass handed to me by Mr. Karate and here's this guy, he was skinny, I guess he was in his late teens, in fact, he looked a lot like Sl1p, crying.

I mean, I don't really know what to do, I was about to say something but what the hell was I going to say? I kinda felt bad, but more than anything I was confused. Luckily, before the moment could get anymore awkward he kinda walked off, sobbing. It didn't matter in the end, I guess, Mr. Karate still whooped me good.

As for this fellow leaving messages, let me give you the following advice, Mike: He sounds like a straight up awesome guy. First, you know he likes transformers just as or almost as much as you do. This is a homerun connection. Next, he also has the same name as you. Think of the possibilities when you are hanging out with one another. You can be the Mike's. Lastly he's close. So close he parks near the same stores as you. I don't know how you can not give him a little ringy-ding dingy. Heck, I'll do it and pretend to be you!

Some stranger leaving a note on your windshield can't lead anywhere good.

On a related note, I've gotten into many conversations with people that are wearing a band shirt I think is neat. They have been pretty cool people and like the convo. Same goes for me. I've had MANY people come up and tell me how "amusing" my Tool wrench t-shirt is. I don't mind this at all.

Well, he wasn't a COMPLETE stranger, he lives in my apartment complex and I see him around pretty frequently. Just can't be nice to people nowdays without somebody getting the wrong idea. :rolleyes:

That's either the stupidest pickup line ever: I see the sticker on tons of cars and this is Long Beach/Los Angeles/whatever; or the creepiest loser ever: someone who can't make real friends, but must resort to these methods.

The note means the person is perhaps overly forward, or drunk. That is about it. Don't think so highly of yourself.
