Hmm... probably a pass for me. I don't really care for the mold (yeah, I know I'm in the minority on that one), and the colors don't look quite right either... should be glossy true black, not dull dark blue-gray.
In other news, Takara has been showing the first in a new line called Alternity, their successor to Alternators/Binaltech. No word yet on a US release for these, but it's probably none too likely. And BBTS wants $50 for the import release - pretty steep for something the size of a Deluxe. :\Quote:

The latest issue of Dengeki Hobby has a new image of the Nissan GT-R Convoy prototype from the upcoming 1:32 scale Alternity line that Takara Tomy will be producing. The image gives us another look at both modes, and article reveals its release date. Or rather, its new release date since its been pushed back from December to January. The line is similar to Binaltech with its diecast parts and detailed car modes, but instead of the vehicles being 1:24 scale, they will be 1:32 scale, or roughly the size of Deluxe Class car Transformers!

ASkywarp looks nice, I like it. But $20 is hard to justify.
Problem with the Unicron Energon Cubes is that they're out-of-print. I have one set of Enargon cubes coming from eBay last week (are these OOP, too?) and I managed to get a Unicron set of cubes off of eBay today, but I'm not sure if the Unicron set will fill my cube needs. Mostly depends on the size of the cubes in-hand.Quote:
