Nice! Don't use it!
"Awww Optimus! Yeah! Work it Optimus! More soap! Uggh!"
Jesus fuck, please don't use it.
Those are hideous. 10/10 my ass.
I like the way Bulkhead turned out, but Bumblebee looks like a McDonald's toy. Motorcycle TF's can fuck off, too.
Can I have someone do me a favor while I'm away - buy a few toys for me if they see them and send them to me when I return home in May? Money will be paid via paypal for toy + shipping + time.
- Cliffjumper 2008 Camaro
- Transformers Animated: Starscream
If I see them, I will grab them for you. But I haven't seen any new TFs in a long time.
The Animated line isn't supposed to hit til June or later anyway. :\
This hits Japan next month. Sadly, there's no word on it getting a US release so far. It's the first 'Allspark Power' figure (not sure if they're actually called that in Japan) that the Allspark blue deco doesn't ruin.

Also, it seems the Premium Series deluxes will be part of a regular assortment, not exclusive to any particular retailer. Note Bumblebee's head - like the stealth repaint, the battle mask is down. I'll probably be grabbing this one after all. Regular Jazz and Barricade are still good enough for me, though.

Just a heads up, if anyone is looking for movie toys the Walmart near me has full shelves for once, you may check it out. Mine had mostly crap, but they did have some Arcees, Nightwatch Prime and both models of deluxe Bumblebee.
Sorry FX, no Cliffjumper. I did look for you.
Thanks guys, for looking for me. I appreciate the help.
And yeah, kingoffighters, I told you that won't steer you wrong. :D Skywarp is one of the best repaints to come out of the Transformers line. Now for Thundercracker, right?
The infamous "Mountain Dewbot" is finally getting a toy; sadly it doesn't transform:Quote:
For those of you that were drooling over the idea of a soda machine Transformer that shoots Mountain Dew cans, here's your chance? Allspark sponsor BigBadToyStore has just listed a pre-order for a third wave of Transformers: The Movie Robot Heroes toys. It features many of the same characters from the first two waves, but hidden amongst them is the jolly, green, cola vendor himself--Dispensor!
That's right, his name will be Dispensor!
* Optimus Prime Vs Barricade
* Ironhide Vs. Dispensor
* Battle Jazz Vs. Megatron
* AllSpark Bumblebee Vs Starscream
Click here to see the pre-order listing. Sadly, no images yet...
Day 1.
The Asian aftermarket-accessories-for-Masterpieces micro-industry is delivering us another pile of win:
Holy Shit, do want!
FX, I couldn't find the 2 TFers you wanted this past weekend (2 Walmarts and 1 Target). Seems like the place was picked clean. I will check again when we do go.
anyone got pics of what FX wants?
I didn't think Animated Starscream was out.
My target had Transformers Star Wars Darth Vader/Death Star on clearence for 11$. No more though. :(
Nice. I picked one up at Walmart a couple days after Christmas for $30.
Revoltech Starscream and Rodimus look pretty awesome.
That's not old or anything.
The pics are new.
Rodimus can eat shit and die.
Starscream looks good though.
!
The text is hard to make out, but from what I can seem to read it's a gundam, not a transformer.
Supposedly the column is unrelated, the text laid over the silhouette says Masterpiece Series, we can all read the english text below that, and the silhouette is of Grimlock's G1 boxart.
In short, MP-07 Grimlock.
grimlock
Got Prime, fought every urge I had to get Megatron, fought every urge I had to get Starscream.
This time, no way in the world I'm going to be able to stop myself from purchasing.
How can you not get Starscream or Skywarp. That mold is just awesome, especially the jet, it is fantastic. Get SS at walmart next time you see it.
And MP Grimlock is D1.
I wasn't planning on getting any of the Animated figures.
but yeah...That shit is hot right therr.
what a fucking geek.
A bunch of folks need to watch that and have a moment of clarity.
what? that the guy in the video is a tool? I doubt anyone here worries about the color of the paint on their toys
I think its a form of OCD :D
This thing really reminds me of Macross.
I'll post the Sunstreaker pic in the usual place. Not sure if I like it, the robot form looks less Classics'y and more Alternators'y.Quote:
TCC Unveils Classic 2.0 Sunstreaker

Pete Sinclair of the Transformers Collectors' Club has revealed the Sunstreaker figure from the Transformers: Classics 2.0 line.
Announced at the 2007 Comic-Con, the Classics 2.0 is scheduled to arrive in fall 2008 with eight deluxe class figures and 3 to 4 Ultras planned.
Sunstreaker's vehicle mode is a yellow Lamborghini, which appears to pay tribute to the character's Generation One Countach model with some modern upgrades here and there, including the front end of the car.
The Autobot logo on the figure is placed on the roof of the vehicle.
In robot mode, Sunstreaker will remain overly yellow except for the Autobot logo on the chest and the two red lines on each shoulder. The rear end of the figure becomes the knee-cap area of the lower half.
Expect Sunstreaker's brother, Sideswipe, to sport approximately the same look, but in the color red with a new chest mold.
Wave 1 Deluxe's: Sunstreaker, Prowl, Tankor (formerly known as Octane)
Wave 1 Ultra's: Onslaught, Powerglide
no. I like transformers but I don't participate in the netfandom nor do I buy the toys anymore. When I go shopping I still look at them, but I can never bring myself to buy one. Well except for that masterpiece prime that got marked down to 25. I had to have that. But you know how it goes
Hasbro has posted unpainted prototype images of the first Universe Classics wave here.
Holy HELL do they look nice. Pre-order, day 1.
Still not really feeling Sunstreaker, but the rest look great.
Hasbro.com presents: what the movie should have looked like
Also: Robot Heroes Dispensor revealed to suck. If it doesn't have the Dew branding, what's the point?
Wow, the new classic line looks dope.
The new Collector's Club mag has them in color, but I haven't had any luck finding scans yet. :(
Wow, nice. The old fight had better choreography for shures. SHORYUKEN!
OMG! DAY 1!
Hobbyfan.com has the Revoltech Starscream and that P.O.S. hot rod on preorder. Says shipping date is April.
My target never runs out of Arcee and for some reason i havnt picked it up yet. I think i will next time im able to. It is a pretty good transformer.
I wonder what kind of shit they had her doing in the movie before they wrote her out of it.

Well its been over a week since the British Toy Fair 2008 took place and what a toy fair it was. As we previously reported, Transformers won the best film license of 2007, the Movie Legends was the number 1 selling Action Figure within the UK, and a lot of new and some previously unseen items were displayed at the event. Now, with a big thanks to Minion, we can bring you information on exactly what was shown off at the event by Hasbro UK. Photos were not allowed at the event, so you'll have to wait for the US toy fair for those to be leaked out, but here's the good stuff.
Transformers Animated
Bulkhead was shown in three sizes. Deluxe, Voyager and Leader class. The leader size had a large jetpack with four wing blades coming out.
Optimus Prime was also shown in the same three sizes.
The voyager scale Megatron was on display along with what was probably the leader class, due to its size, helicopter version which had a cannon on the underneath of the cockpit. Minion asked the Hasbro representative who is was and she confirmed it was Megatron. It reminded him of the Miles Mayhem chopper in MASK.
Transformers Animated Fast Action Battlers were on display, though the line has officially bene renamed, only Minion can not recall exactly what to. They now have electronics and sounds as well as the pull back action and pop-out features. Three figures were on display, though Bumblebee is the only one he can recall at this time.
Jazz was also shown off in vehicle mode looking very sweet and G1 like (colour wise).
Other Animated figures were also on display, but nothing else was new as was the packaging.
Transformers Movie
Hasbro confirmed that the Transformers Movie line will run, within the UK, up to the launch of Transformers Animated, at which point it will be phased out. The Robot Heroes Optimus Prime / Bonecrusher 2-pack was part of the display.
Transformers Universe Classics AKA Classics 2.0
Sunstreaker, Prowl, Onslaught and Powerglide were all on display.
Powerglide was fully coloured and was pretty big, comparable to Jetfire. Not enough red for Minion's tastes as they made a lot of use of silver on his colouring.
Onslaught was much chunker than expected, the SWAT APC mode looked much better in person than the official images.
Sunstreaker had been over-handled by the end of the weekend and had fallen to pieces (it was a prototype being displayed).
Prowl looked great
Robot Heroes
Blitzwing and Galvatron were on display, as were a few others. They all looked great and continue the tradition of these collectable figures
Marvel Transformers
The Marvel Transformers were also on display, the first three figures being Hulk, Venom and Iron Man. Much smaller than the metamorphs and comparable to the Star Wars Transformers. Venom turns into a jeep/APC, Hulk a Tank and Iron Man a jet. They all looked pretty cool
I like the repaint of Leader Class Optimus Prime (Nightwatch/allspark). It is cool blue.
Got the last one last night from Target.

Hey, FX, do you still need movie Cliffjumper? My local Walmart is littered with them right now.
Yeah, I like it too, but I can't justify buying such an expensive mold twice, and the upcoming Premium Series version definitely takes precedence. :\
Anyway, the Allspark Power deluxes finally came in at the local walmart. Got Cliffjumper, Landmine, and Stockade; passed on Camshaft. Also passing on all the voyagers, although the osprey one would be cool if the bright colors didn't show up in vehicle mode.
Gentlemen, ready your grains of salt.
Pretty cool if this is for real - hopefully they'll put it up on HTS too, like most of the stuff last year.
Must get.
People love the shit out of black robots.
Looks awesome, I'm interested.
Thanks to the New York Toy Fair, we finally have color pics of the first Universe wave. Unfortunately, it seems they're mixing in repaints - Blaster deserved better than Cybertron Soundwave's crap mold. (The other one is Heavy Load.)
But hot damn, do Prowl and Onslaught look nice.
Great, if the Marvel 'Formers are considered part of the same line as the SW 'Formers, I think it's safe to predict they're gonna suck.Quote:
This just in from Seibertron at Toy Fair 2008!
Classics Galvatron was unveiled today and apparently looks awesome.
Hasbro is now taking the Star Wars Transformers and combining them with the Marvel Transformers and they will now collectively be known as Transformers Crossovers.
Animated Jazz is also on display, and according to Ryan, looks very much like the Mach 5, the car from Speed Racer.
Expect pictures later today!
Edit: In another update, it appears the designs for the Transformers Movie sequel are well underway. In a conversation with Aaron Archer, Ryan found out that Hasbro has been working with the Paramount/Dreamworks for the past 3 weeks. The current designs that they have come up with have been submitted to Tomy/Takara.
And here's Universe Classics Galvatron. He does look pretty nice, even if it's disappointing he's not a turret. <wishfulthinking>Maybe Shockwave's in the works too and they didn't want to release two figures with such similar alt-modes.</wishfulthinking>
lol, isn't that the tank that Israel designed?
http://galleries.fototagger.com/link...&id=578&sort=0
OMG GALVS IS A JEW!?!?!
anyway, that is probably the best we could have hoped for for galvs. It would be nice if they would make him an anti-aircraft gun or a beach defense gun, but I guess they figure kids won't play with something that doesn't have wheels or wings.
Animated deluxes. I won't bother posting the ones we've already been seeing for months.
Dear lord Jazz looks sweet. And Soundwave looks a lot less retarded in color.
EDIT: oh, and the name of the new green chopper with the goat skull is Oil Slick.
Leader class Bulkhead and (Earth mode) Megatron, and Supreme class Optimus. Ultra Magnus will also be available in this scale, but there are no pics as of yet.
That megatron isn't actually too bad.
Yeah, although a big honkin' gun hanging off the front of a helicopter looks a bit goofy.
Megatron robot mode looks decent, but a helicopter, I dunno.
Thought I'd post a custom I made. I actually painted it a long time ago, but I just got the stickers in the mail from Reprolables to finish it off.

Good paint job, but I am not crazy about the green. Still, it is nicely done.
Why so green?
I LIKE THE GREEN.
Oh, I do too. It's just very very green. I don't remember much of the movie, was he that green?
I don't like that shade of green, but I do like green. Who doesn't like green?
My local hobby shops don't sell anything close to the color seen in the movie. :(
But damn it, I like this green. :D
One way or another, the end result is much better than what I started with.
http://www.seibertron.com/images/toy...ratchet088.jpg
I especially like the gray/silver rims.
Fuckin sweet.
Looks like HasbroToyShop.com will have the first Animated wave on the 25th. Also,Quote:
Enter the code "SPRCAT8" now till April 30th, 2008 to get 10% off AND FREE shipping on orders of $50 USD or more.
Is that all that's in the first wave?
Seems that way. Unfortunately it turns out they don't really have them yet - they're taking preorders for June. Still, it's a nice deal if you want several of them. Also, here's the lineup for waves 2 and 3 in the deluxe scale:Quote:
Wave 2: Ratchet, Blackarachnia
Wave 3: Jazz, Oil Slick, Snarl, Soundwave
http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1808795
thought some of you would like that
Haha, Johnny Five at the end.
Leader One cried. AWESOME.
lol @ Leader One.
Bwahahahaahha! That was great.
Back on the main topic: So when and where can I pick up Grimlock or the other Dinobots in the new toy line, exactly?
Not til some time after June, since that's when Animated wave 1 ships (and they aren't in it).
More Marvel TF Crossovers revealed at Toyfair Australia. Note the back of Wolverine's card, where we see three more characters - Grey Hulk (repaint of green Hulk), Black Suit Spidey (repaint of regular Spidey), and Human Torch (a jet, but not a repaint of Iron Man) - bringing the total known to eight. Hasbro says there will ultimately be ten to fifteen.
